Barcode System,Inc is a Puerto Rico based company founded in November 1st, 1993 at San Juan Puerto Rico. Our company aims it's efforts to the consulting, sale, implementation, support and maintenance of Coding, Data Collection, ID card printing and Time and Attendance systems solutions in the Puerto Rico and Caribbean region.

Our Business

CODING

Coding systems referring to devices and/or procedures oriented to identify materials/products with proprietary and variable information on the customer's interest. This is accomplished by printing labels or tags in-house with predefined label formats containing the pertinent information. One of the most common coding application is price or UPC coding used in the retail market.

With the introduction of the Barcode, coding systems have evolved to be more complex and varied. The printing technologies had evolved from manual price markers, stencils and dot matrix printers to electronic computer driven thermal printers. This enables end users to buy printing systems and print their own labels on demand. Also provides flexibility of label sizes and formats to be printed. Even more interesting are the standards that have been developed to communicate data electronically via labels & barcodes.

With five (5) mayor label and ribbon manufactures in the portfolio, BSI can provide QUALITY material with a quick response. We provide labels, tags, thermal ribbons, and toners for all mayor printer brands. Also provide specialty products for specific marking applications such as AIAG compliance labeling, HIBC solutions, Hazardous material marking, US/CSA labeling requirements and all others.
